About me
Bryan leads the T&D interactions group in Grid Planning and Analysis at the National Lab of the Rockies (NLR, formerly NREL). He researches integrated grid planning across generation, transmission, distribution, and customers, including new multi-model tools to capture DERs, grid-adjacent technologies, and more at all scales. Earlier he was at RMI; consulted in energy efficiency; built satellites/rockets; taught mountaineering; and got a few too many degrees from Georgia Tech, Stanford, and MIT.
