About me

Ekaterina holds a PhD in Thermal Physics and has 10+ years of experience across industry and research, where she adopted open source tools to solve practical challenges in the decarbonisation of energy supply. She is one of the core developers of the PyPSA-Earth energy system model and co-steers PyPSA-meets-Earth, an independent research and development initiative that aims to make open tools accessible for energy transition planning worldwide.
